Treasurer

Curlina Hills serves as the Executive Director of Administration at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), specifically within the Bureau of Food Safety and Community Sanitation (BFSCS). In her role, she oversees essential functions including Customer Service, Human Resources, Other Than Personnel Services (OTPS), Budgets and Grants, ensuring the bureau operates efficiently and effectively. Additionally, she has oversight of the Hearings Unit, further enhancing the bureau’s operational capabilities.

Curlina graduated from CUNY Queens Law School with a focus on immigration law, providing her with a solid legal foundation. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Long Island University, equipping her to navigate complex regulatory environments and advocate for her community.

In addition to her responsibilities at DOHMH, Curlina runs her own legal practice specializing in immigration law, where she is passionate about providing pro bono work to ensure legal assistance is accessible to those in need.

Curlina is actively involved in her community as an Evangelist at Vision Pentecostal Church, where she shares the gospel and fosters spiritual growth among others. As Treasurer of COSAGO, she is dedicated to promoting effective governance and financial accountability, emphasizing transparency and the importance of collaboration within the organization.

Residing in New York City with her family, Curlina continues to serve her community both professionally and personally, making a positive impact through her work and faith.
